With the mouth open, this point is located in the depression between the middle tragus and the condyloid process of the mandible.
How To Find It
In order to locate this point ask the patiend to open the mouth so that the condyloid process of the mandible slides forwards to reveal the depression.

The auricular branches of the superficial temporal artery and vein.
