Profile:
I live in a regional part of Victoria on 20 beautiful acres of eucalypt forest about 630 metered
above sea level, and only about an hour away from the big smoke of a Melbourne. I have been
focussing on the treatment of children for over 20 years.
I love horses, and have two, I love landscape gardening, grow most of our own veggies, love to
labour on my own soil.
I have been involved in the Australian Chinese medicine profession in a range of roles over
many years, and am currently an appointed member of the Chinese Medicine Registration
Board of Victoria. I am also involved in the new national board for Chinese medicine which takes
over regulation throughout Australia this year (2012). I think regulation is mostly a good thing,
and has improved the overall standard of practice. This doesn't equate with homogenization of
our profession, which scares me!
I am a volunteer firefighter in my local brigade, enjoy local food and wine, and have a wonderful
family around me, whom I love.
